Making a Connection

Writer: connect2ugandaconnect2uganda

I’m so excited to see what God has in store for the next 5 years and beyond for Connect to Uganda. I first heard about Connect to Uganda at our church Women’s Retreat and signed up for the Faraway Friend’s program. I chose a lovely woman named Rose since my daughter’s middle name is Rose and thought it would help my daughter connect with her even more!

We love seeing the progress on the buildings, school, church and the photos of the women and children in the village. It really helps bring perspective to our “first world problems” when you see the joy in their faces over seemingly simple things we take for granted every day. It is a joy to correspond with our friend Rose and to witness the work of Connect to Uganda!

Julie and her team are truly an inspiration of God’s work across the oceans. I guess that job at Kohls after the kids graduated just wasn’t meant to be!
