Will NOT be rescheduled.
We have been unable to secure a venue and trivia host for a new trivia night date so we have made the difficult decision to cancel the event for 2025.

The cancellation is disappointing news for a variety of reasons. First - our trivia nights are FUN and we were looking forward to seeing everyone and giving you some exciting updates on our work in Uganda! Second, we do not receive any refunds for payments made to host the event.
But an even bigger disappointment is a missed opportunity to raise funds for several projects Connect to Uganda hopes to support in 2025. We were counting on the generosity of trivia participants to fund our Goats for Education program, furnishings for new school buildings, and books for the school library – all projects that directly impact students in Bubago. We also hoped to fund sewing machines for the final group of tailoring class graduates in the Far Away Friend program.
If you purchased tickets for the event, you have two choices:

Your ticket purchase can pivot to a tax deductible donation! It will help fund the projects mentioned above, with our gratitude.

We can issue you a refund. Send us an email to info@connecttouganda.org and we will make that happen as soon as possible. We hope to see you at next year’s event!

Desks for the newest school building and nursery school. - $50

A goat that will be gifted to a Primary 6 student in the Need-Based Scholarship program, along with a full day of training. Offspring will be sold and profits will be saved to help offset the extra costs of secondary school in a few years. - $75

A sewing machine for an upcoming graduate of the Far Away Friend tailoring program. - $100

A teacher chair to be used with desks and in the library and offices. - $20
